Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is a day we celebrate mothers, and there are all kinds of mothers.

Which one are you, or which one do you desire to be?

Some mothers speak kind words and others not so much.

Some mothers are quick to put a bandage on scraped knees and others not so much.

Some mothers have listening ears and others not so much.

Some mothers take the time to bake cookies with their children and others not so much.

Some mothers attend their children’s sports events and others not so much.

Some mothers obviously love their children and others not so much.

Some mothers teach their children about Jesus and others not so much.

Some mothers share an evening meal with their children and others not so much.

Some mothers read bedtime stories to their children and others not so much.

Some mothers make time to help with homework assignments and others not so much.

Some mothers make sure they know their children’s friends and others not so much.

Would you like to share a quality you think is special for a mother to behold?

Do you have a memorable moment with your mother to share?

As a mother, do you have a memorable moment with your child to share?

I’m glad my mom is one of the caring, encouraging sorts. 🙂

My favorite memories with you, Mother, is all of the time we’ve spent together through homeschooling and road-tripping and doing everyday life together.
